Näak has been a Certified B Corp since 2021. The B Corp certification is only given to companies that meet the highest standards of social and environmental accountability. We achieved this credential by reaching the highest standards to impact our employees, communities, and the environment positively.
ingredients
Upcycled ingredients.
Upcycling minimises waste being sent to landfill and reduces the need for production using new raw material, which means a reduction in air pollution, water pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. We're using upcycled certified maple and barley rice in our products and aim to increase the use of upcycling in our list of ingredients to reduce our carbon footprint.
Proteins
Sustainable Protein.
We use only plant-based protein because it uses fewer natural resources and is less polluting. Plant-based proteins produce 11x times less greenhouse gases than meat protein.
Packaging
Sustainable Packaging.
Our commitment to the planet does not stop with our list of ingredients. We plan to make our packaging 100% reusable, recyclable, or compostable. Our goal is to reduce the need for raw materials to be extracted and processed into new packaging materials. Reducing pollution and greenhouse gas emissions while conserving natural resources such as energy and water.
