Recipe - Cricket Powder Tomato Salsa

A colorful, tasty and summery dip! You can't go wrong with this cricket powdertomato salsa.  Use our Canada made cricket powder to add nutritious benefits to your meals!

Ingredients

  • 6 tomatoes
  • 2 jalapeños, seeds removed
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp cricket powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut tomatoes into quarters. 
  2. Add all the ingredients to a blender and pulse until you reach your desired salsa consistency.
  3. Taste and season with more salt, pepper, or lime juice if needed.
  4. Garnish with more cilantro.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
