Carbon Neutrality Project Job Description

Are you passionate about trail running or other endurance sports? Curious to explore the food industry? If you're adventurous and eager to help sustainably improve tomorrow's sports nutrition, then Näak is for you!

Näak is a rapidly growing brand that provides high-performance and sustainable nutrition designed to fuel ultra-runners and outdoor enthusiasts. We are looking for a Coordinator (Environment & Impact) full of ideas and energy to join our NäakLab team.

BCorp certified since 2021, Näak positions itself as a leader of change in its industry and aims to achieve carbon neutrality by the end of 2025.

Responsibilities

  • 70% Carbon Neutrality Project:
  • Collaborate with the VP Product Innovation and Impact and external stakeholders to achieve the project's goals.
  • Implement tracking tools and create environmental impact reports for Näak.
  • Identify and prioritize actions to reduce the company's and its value chain's carbon footprint.
  • 30% BCorp:
  • Establish and coordinate the BCorp action plan based on objectives.
  • Work with Marketing to communicate Näak's actions.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proactive, creative, and entrepreneurial individual.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy.
  • Team player is a must!
  • Currently pursuing studies (bachelor’s, master’s, engineering, or equivalent) in environmental sciences, food sciences, agribusiness, or any other relevant field.
  • Previous knowledge or experience in agribusiness is a plus.
  • Previous knowledge or experience in environmental science is a plus.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and French.
