It features 26g of carbohydrates with a precise 3:1 glucose-to-fructose ratio to maximize fast and sustained energy absorption. Furthermore, it is uniquely powered by olive oil to slow digestion and flatten blood sugar spikes, providing a natural, authentic taste that satisfies actual hunger and prevents the severe GI distress commonly caused by synthetic gels during long efforts.

This premium formula delivers 25g to 27g of dual-source carbohydrates utilizing a scientifically optimized 3:1 glucose:fructose ratio for optimal, fast-absorbing energy. It features sweet, natural energy from 100% upcycled maple syrup and real apples, clean plant-based protein featuring upcycled rapeseed canola protein, and is powered by olive oil. The addition of olive oil slows down digestion to flatten blood sugar spikes and release steady, long-lasting energy.

Yes. It is formulated to be highly versatile and can be enjoyed both cold or warm depending on the weather conditions of your adventure. It remains perfectly smooth, squeezable, and easy to consume in freezing temperatures without hardening. For cold-weather outings, nighttime sections of races, or winter backcountry expeditions, you can also gently warm the pouch in warm water before consuming to enjoy a comforting, hot apple-pie-like treat on the trail.

näak ULTRA™ Puree is designed with a plant-based, gluten-free recipe that is free from major active ingredients like soy, pea, and oat. However, because it is produced in a shared manufacturing facility, the packaging notes that it may contain trace amounts of soy, milk, and eggs due to cross-contamination risks. Additionally, since the formula is powered by upcycled canola protein isolate, individuals with a known severity to mustard allergies should exercise caution, as a cross-reactivity may also exist with canola protein.

Unopened pouches of näak ULTRA™ Puree are shelf-stable for up to 18 months from the production date, making them highly reliable for long-term expedition planning or emergency backcountry kits. It does not require refrigeration before opening. Once the twist cap is opened, if you do not finish the entire pouch, it should be kept refrigerated and consumed within 24 hours to ensure optimal freshness and safety.

näak ULTRA™ Puree delivers less waste and more sustainable nutrition by incorporating over 21% upcycled ingredients. This includes our 100% responsible Canola Protein derived entirely from upcycled rapeseed meal. Additionally, we source our 100% uncycled maple syrup sustainably to ensure your long-distance fuel leaves a lighter environmental footprint.
