Barra ULTRA™ ‧ Pack Discovery

The näak ULTRA™ Bar is a soft, plant-based bar delivering complete nutrition and sustained fuel for active days and long-lasting performance. To keep you moving through your longest days and busiest training schedules, each bar blends an ideal balance of 200 calories, 27g of balanced carbohydrates, clean plant protein, and essential sodium. This convenient, easy-to-digest solid fuel provides everything your body needs to perform while keeping you feeling light.

Before exercise: Eat 1 bar 30 to 45 minutes before starting to top off your glycogen and sodium levels with an easy-to-digest snack that won't weigh you down.

During exercise: Consume 1 bar every 45 to 60 minutes during your activity to provide your body with a steady, continuous stream of energy, protein, and essential electrolytes.

During busy days: Enjoy it at any time of the day as an active lifestyle snack to provide sustained, crash-free power when you need high-quality nutrition on the go.

Unlike standard sports bars from other brands that can be dry, dense, and difficult to swallow, the näak ULTRA™ Bar features a soft, easy-to-chew, melt-in-your-mouth texture carefully crafted to be easy to swallow even under intense physical stress. Furthermore, while traditional brands rely on simple sugars that cause rapid blood sugar spikes and subsequent crashes, our bar delivers 27g of balanced, complex carbohydrates to provide a steady, long-lasting release of power. It is a complete plant-based formula that supplies plant protein and essential sodium rather than just basic carbohydrates.

Yes, the näak ULTRA™ Bar is 100% vegan, crafted entirely from clean, plant-based ingredients with zero dairy or animal-derived components. Regarding gluten, the recipe is made with naturally gluten-free plant-based ingredients. However, because it contains oats—which are naturally gluten-free but frequently processed alongside wheat—there is a possibility they may contain trace amounts of gluten due to agricultural cross-contamination. While it is an exceptionally clean and gut-friendly option, athletes with severe celiac disease should keep this potential cross-contamination in mind.

Yes. The näak ULTRA™ Bar uses a gut-friendly formula carefully developed to be exceptionally gentle on your stomach. This clean, plant-based recipe absorbs smoothly without causing the gastrointestinal bloating, cramping, or severe distress that often occurs when trying to process heavy, highly processed, or dairy-laden solid foods during high-intensity and long-distance efforts.

Yes, it makes an excellent natural snack to consume 30 to 45 minutes before your run to top off your glycogen and sodium levels. Its balanced mix of nutrients, complete protein, and essential minerals provides long-lasting energy right from your first step. Because it digests easily and keeps you feeling light, it can also be used as a convenient active lifestyle snack on busy days when you need high-quality, plant-based nutrition on the go.

For multi-hour efforts, relying solely on liquid nutrition can lead to "slosh stomach," a bloated, watery feeling caused by delayed gastric emptying. Incorporating solid nutrition like the näak ULTRA™ Bar provides a satisfying, natural texture that stimulates the digestive tract, satisfies physical hunger, and stabilizes the stomach. Additionally, the inclusion of plant-based protein and fats in solid form slows down nutrient absorption slightly, ensuring a flat, steady glycemic curve rather than the constant blood sugar spikes and drops of an all-liquid, simple-sugar diet.

No, the näak ULTRA™ Bar is specifically engineered to remain soft, flexible, and easy to chew even in extreme, sub-zero outdoor temperatures. While standard energy bars from other brands can freeze solid and become nearly impossible to bite into in winter conditions, our unique plant-based fat and carbohydrate matrix preserves the bar's signature "melt-in-your-mouth" texture, making it the perfect reliable choice for cold-weather trail runs, winter mountaineering, or backcountry skiing.

Most näak ULTRA™ Bars are completely caffeine-free, making them safe to consume continuously throughout long, multi-hour efforts without causing heart-rate spikes or sleep disruptions during multi-day expeditions. However, we do offer specific caffeine-infused variations within the line designed to boost mental focus and alertness when you need a performance lift during the late, demanding stages of a race. Please check the specific product label to choose your preferred energy profile.
